I’ve been on a personal and professional journey this last year, and I want to tell you all about the change.

The changes were already percolating in 2025. The shifting landscape of DEI work and a season of personal reflection led me to ask those tough questions about how I really want to be spending my brief stay on this planet.

So I surveyed some of my clients; the people I’ve worked with for years, whose transformation I have witnessed and been a part of. What came back was both cup filling and resoundingly clear.

The value that I provide to the clients I most love working with is not my experience as a human resources executive, my coaching and business credentials, or my deep personal and professional experience helping people connect across differences.

What clients most value about working with me is my steady and balanced presence through some of their most difficult work transitions; my ability to hold both business needs and human needs with remarkable care and without judgement; and how I help leaders and teams move from unsteadiness towards concrete action.

“When things are feeling unsteady, call Lillian,” is the message I heard over and over again.

You know those moments when things just FEEL true down to your bones? This was one of them. As I read and re-read the comments, it became clear that I needed to make a fundamental shift in how I was talking about my work. Leading with Equity is what I do. Steady Ground is who I am.

Introducing Steady Ground Advisory: an executive coaching and HR advisory firm that supports leaders through work’s toughest transitions; and helps you lead with intention & integrity.

What I’ve learned from some of the most inspiring business people I know, is that your business changes as the world changes and as YOU change. You adapt to the clients’ needs and you adapt to your own needs for growth, challenge, inspiration, connection, and community. That’s what this change is for me personally. An evolution into my next professional chapter; one that I hope will be filled with transformation for the leaders I work with, and for myself.

In this new chapter, I am excited to be doing more of the following:

  • Executive leadership coaching for director level and above professionals who are longing to lead with both intention and integrity. You may be preparing for or in a new role, contemplating a big transition, or struggling to lead the way you’d like to in a restrictive corporate culture.
  • Executive leadership coaching for teams that are struggling with ongoing conflict, power struggles, or decision making. I’m talking about deep-seated differences in how members of your team operate that are getting in the way of your team achieving what you’re capable of.
  • Executive HR advisory for small to medium sized businesses. Maybe you’re a CEO who has an HR team member with the potential to grow into a bigger and more strategic role, and you’d like to invest in that person’s development. Or maybe you want to have someone on retainer to help advise on the toughest work situations like performance issues, restructuring or executive team conflict. If this is you or someone you know, I’d love to talk (typically a month to month commitment).

If any of the above sounds familiar, let’s find time for a Clarity Consultation.

Transformation is ongoing, if we allow it to be.

I am grateful for the last six years of Lead with Equity, and I’m looking forward to the next chapter with Steady Ground. Thank you for being a part of this journey.

With love,

Lillian
